Welcome to Elizabeth City State University’s NCATE/DPI Continuing Education Website. On behalf of the School of Education of the faculty, staff, students and P-12 partners, we are excited that you have taken your time to review our program. We believe that our Teacher Education Programs are among the best in the Northeast. Our candidates leave our program prepared to meet the 21st Century goals in teaching. Our Conceptual Framework Professional Educator as Decision Maker is the foundation for all candidate preparation. When candidates leave our program, employers can be assured they are reflective practitioners, advocators for diversity, critical thinkers, proficient technology, competent evaluators and effective facilitators.
